At the 2025 South by Southwest (SXSW) conference, Disney shared exciting updates about upcoming attractions at its theme parks, showcasing their commitment to innovation and immersive experiences.

New Star Wars Adventure

Disney Parks revealed plans to enhance the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run ride at Walt Disney World. In partnership with the creators of The Mandalorian, a new mission featuring Din Djarin and Grogu will be added, set to coincide with the release of the Mandalorian film in 2026. This update will deepen the Star Wars experience for fans, integrating characters from the popular series into the ride’s storyline.

Pixar-Inspired Experiences

At Magic Kingdom, guests will soon be able to enjoy a Cars-themed attraction, offering a thrilling off-road rally through the film’s iconic landscapes. Additionally, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new Monsters, Inc. attraction will bring the excitement of a suspended roller coaster, simulating a high-speed chase through the legendary door vault. These attractions will push the limits of immersive theme park experiences with state-of-the-art technology.

Expanding the Marvel Universe

Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus will soon expand with two major new attractions. Avengers Infinity Defense will invite guests to team up with Marvel heroes to fight King Thanos across multiple dimensions, while Stark Flight Lab will give visitors a hands-on look at Tony Stark’s cutting-edge technology. These attractions promise to bring Marvel fans even closer to their favorite superheroes.
