From May 27 through September 1, 2025, families visiting Walt Disney World can enjoy exclusive activities designed especially for younger guests. Throughout the parks, kids can dive into special play zones filled with interactive games, music, dancing, and exciting character encounters. These limited-time experiences are crafted to create unforgettable Disney memories for children.

At Magic Kingdom, families can explore enhanced kid zones in Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland, where Stitch will be making special appearances. Over at EPCOT, after the Flower and Garden Festival wraps up, Goofy will host a lively play area inside CommuniCore Hall—a perfect spot for kids to cool off and enjoy interactive fun.

For guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, there’s an extra treat: select Disney characters will greet visitors earlier during the daily early theme park entry period (with valid park admission). It’s a magical way to kick off the day by meeting some of your favorite Disney friends!

And don't forget—Disney theme parks typically offer extended hours during the summer, giving families the flexibility to take a midday pool break or fit in even more favorite attractions.

Exclusive Events for Select Disney Resort Hotels

Select Disney Resort hotels—Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge—will offer additional Disney-themed activities. These include scheduled character visits and a wider range of recreational options. All Disney resorts will continue to provide classic activities such as Disney movie nights and complimentary transportation.

Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can also enjoy early character appearances during the daily early theme park entry period, which requires valid park admission. Extended park hours during the summer give visitors more flexibility to plan their day and experience popular attractions.

New Shows and Nighttime Parade

Two new live shows will also debut on May 27, 2025. "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" brings the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios classic to life on stage with brand-new sets and impressive visuals, perfect for fans of Disney Princesses. For those captivated by Disney Villains, "Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After" is an interactive stage show where the audience helps decide which villain has faced the most unfair treatment.

Later in the summer, Magic Kingdom will introduce "Disney Starlight," a new nighttime parade featuring characters from favorites like "Peter Pan," "Encanto," and "Frozen." This marks the first nighttime parade at Disney World in nearly a decade, and more details, including an official opening date, will be shared soon.
